Over the past decade, we have been touched by the countless inquiries we’ve received from parents, who are seeking not just a school, but a nurturing environment where their children can overcome neurodivergent challenges through cognitive improvement rather than reliance on life-long compensations. 

One of the most significant challenges for families has been the waiting period before being able to enroll their children in the Arrowsmith Program, which traditionally begins in 2nd Grade. We know how much you want your child to flourish, and we understand the urgency you feel. That’s why our team has come together to create a unique K-2 Program that lays a solid foundation for cognitive development, preparing each child to embrace the more intensive Arrowsmith Program by 2nd Grade with confidence and excitement. 

Our K-2 Program is designed with heart and purpose, focusing on key objectives that foster growth in every aspect of a child's development: 

  1. Preparation for the Arrowsmith Program/Cognitive Development: We will gradually introduce the Arrowsmith Program exercises as appropriate, based on student readiness and developmental ability.

  2. Social Growth: We understand the importance of friendships, so we’ll encourage meaningful peer interactions and help children recognize social cues, laying the groundwork for strong connections. 

  3. Emotional Nurturing: By fostering self-regulation, confidence, and empathy, we aim to help each child navigate their emotions and grow into resilient individuals.

  4. Foundational Learning: Through engaging activities, your child will begin to explore literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving, setting the stage for future academic success. 

  5. Speech-Language Support: Speech-Language Pathologists, if appropriate, can be contracted to offer personalized assessments and interventions to empower communication skills in our young learners. 

  6. Physical Growth: With a variety of activities that promote fine and gross motor skills, we’ll encourage active participation and playful exploration in movement. 

  7. Creative Exploration: We believe in the power of imagination. Opportunities for artistic expression and imaginative play will ignite creativity in every child. 

  8. Building Independence: Skills like tying shoelaces and managing personal belongings will foster autonomy.

  9. Igniting a Love for Learning: Above all, we want your children to cultivate a joyful curiosity about the world, nurturing a lifelong passion for education.
